The Timber
Wood exhibits different grain patterns depending on the cut. For example, the 'medullary ray' seen in oak furniture signifies high-quality timber, showcasing the natural beauty of the wood. Terrazzo has existed since Venetian workers recycled scrap marble into building material. It has certain inherently sustainable qualities, such as solid durability, low maintenance requirements, and zero VOC materials. Terrazzo is generally non-porous and does not support microbial growth or moisture accumulation, making it highly sanitary.
